A 71-year-old man, Henry, is having a drink in a Chicago bar, a place he frequents to unwind and escape the daily grind of life. It’s a modest, dimly lit establishment with a long history, just like Henry himself. He’s a man of routine, who enjoys the comfort of familiar faces and a good bourbon.
On this particular evening, as he nurses his drink and listens to the soft hum of conversation around him, the door swings open, and a burst of laughter and chatter fills the room. Henry glances up and is taken aback. Suddenly, a gorgeous 19-year-old girl enters and sits down a few seats away from him. Her presence is like a breath of fresh air, and she effortlessly commands attention with her youthful vitality and beauty.
Henry, who has always considered himself a gentleman, doesn’t want to be the creepy older man staring at a young woman. Still, he can’t help but steal an occasional glance, captivated by her energy and charm. He wonders what has brought her to this bar, of all places.
