Funny Joke

Psychology professor illustrates stress management with a glass of water.

leaned forward in anticipation, eager to grasp the lesson she was about to impart. The professor, known for her engaging lectures, held the glass aloft and asked the audience, “How heavy is this glass of water?”

The room was silent as the students pondered the question. Some whispered among themselves, uncertain of the answer. Eventually, a student raised their hand tentatively. “Is it 100 grams?” they ventured.

The professor smiled warmly. “The actual weight doesn’t matter,” she replied. “What truly matters is how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s bearable. If I hold it for an hour, my arm will ache. If I hold it for a day, my muscles will cramp and I’ll feel immense pain. The weight of the glass hasn’t changed, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”

She continued, “Stress works the same way. If we carry our burdens for a short while, they’re manageable. However, if we let them weigh on us for an extended period, they become unbearable, affecting our mental and physical well-being.”
